Making the Switch

Finally the holidays are here! I guess every morning i wake up, i'm going to feel that Christmas feeling again! Oh, how i love Christmas. And not forgetting that crazy Spring-cleaning feel! 'Cause everytime the Sun shines down my open blinds, it's got a particular brightness.. and the dust is just so.. visible:D

I'm so excited! Uncle Andrew's going to get a mansionette by the time it's Christmas! So that means we're going to his new house on Christmas Eve! Wow, this just rocks. But that also concludes that there isn't going to be any expensive gifts from him):

Hello and HAPPY DEEPAVALI!
Today i went over the CHEEMI'S house for Deepavali lunch! Grace and Zanita were there too! It was really fun, mostly because we were watching GOONG! :D Which kind of reminds me of the lovely Goong OST. Right now, im blogging while waiting for a couple of Goong videos to load on Youtube(: I really like the song Im a Fool by Stay. Its really quite heartwrenching)': But the lyrics are like..shitty to read. Anyway, the other songs are really quite Goong-ish sounding, which is really cool.

Okay. Im back from watching some Goong videos. This sucks. I always have this going-to-cry feeling during the last few seconds of almost every video. Yucks. This is gross.

hello friends.
if you had been to crescent's national day celebrations, you would have had absolute fun!
it started with a solemn celebration, where the SEC1 BAND played trumpet voluntary for the march in. with then followed by the national anthem and pledge with the recollections. we still had to stand 'at ease' for the national day message. my legs were breaking, okay?!

after our break, the band set up for their next performance! dont make it sound so easy, it was such a squeeze in the backstage. setting up the chairs with your reed in your mouth is not very convenient. When the band warmed up, people screamed hysterically for the friends who were about to perform. like momo and sarah and the restt!! Yes, what supportive friends! As the band major led the band to a warm-up note, more people filed in with flags stuck together to try to make some marvelous high-flying flag tower. The band played 'LION KING' which had some juvenile players smiling pleasantly to the audience. not so pleasant, Author, just try to smile nicely without looking alien? Yes. It was indeed a magical performance! As the sec1 band joined in to play 'BIG FUN IN THE SUN', folks from peacehaven came in. BFIS was an okay performance. Sounded less enjoyable from their previous practices. HEY WHAT TALKING YOU?!? oh okay, i still kinda agree. One of the audiences said that she could'nt make up the tune of BFIS.

The day was rather patroitic, with many national day songs to sing. Yes i agree. i could almost cry. It ended well and as the girls left,some went shopping with their friends. Yes i did. smita and shienling too. Nicolette, Shienling and Smita went to citylink's MOH, TCC AND HMV to shop for things. after buying some books, they ate the marvelously delicious chicken wings and cold chocolate from tcc. which they then browsed through cds at hmv.

a quarter of the WORLD CUP!

hello folks.

with the quarter-finals of the world over, i dont think i can sleep much!
3 reasons:
>the whole HDB flat will be screaming at every goal(or every going-to-be-but-wasn't goal)
>i'll be watching
>im worried over my un-done homework

these 2days, i have been catching the quarterfinals of the world cup. :D
what's the first match? yes, the germany match and argentina right? but yesterday's one was SO exciting. and a little upsetting.

it was the england vs portugal match. england was OUT. )': my gerrard. he's so cute. his hair is so soft! beckham had injuries and he was crying and rooney pushed c.ronaldo and got a red card. so crouch was in. he looks like a freaking giraffe! he's so clumsy and keeps on toppling over other people. 0.o he looks abit scary too.

the brazil vs france match was also rather heart-thumping. sadly, we went to some shitty coffeeshop. the screen is like so itsy-bitsy. so i lost interest. but if i was at saf yatch club, i think i'll be standing on my toes already!

so we went home at around 5plus. and slept at around 6. rachel's sad that england's out and so am i. my sister is heartbroken that brazil is out. what is the world coming to?

yesterday yesterday was brace day!
went to ndc one hour late.
but haha, i didnt regret it.
chew ming tak gave me a mini mini lecture and i felt abit bad.
but it took really fast. like 20minutes for him to fit in my braces.
i chose WHITE COLOUR! :D
cos it's so nice. actually, it's not because zhiyang also wears white but i really think it isnt that obvious. but in the end it still is. /: haha
so i met this really cute guy. omgosh. dirty green guy with wonderful adidas shoes.
i should have asked for his number man. GOSH. now i can throw away shawn ashmore and lee dong gun alr!! actually not really. i still want them. :D
so the braces arent painful at all. i mean, when you first put them on la. but after that, you can say byebye to my wonderful potato chips and hello fish porridge. hurray?

hired shermaine to be my foodie consultant. since she's such a professional(uhh) at braces and food. she really should write a book. she wants pay but uh-uh. NO WAY MAN. :D
